Maria Bonita Mexican Grill: Authentic Flavors of Mexico in Hobbs, NM

I had an incredible experience at this restaurant. Although I’m not a local, I’m definitely planning to return whenever I can. The service, food, and ambiance were all exceptional. It’s one of the best places I’ve been to in a while.

It was so packed food is definitely delicious need more staff.

Yesenia the waitress was awesome. She was very helpful. Before you receive your meal and look at the menu you receive a soup. The food is always warm and the drinks are very cold. All the staff and is very friendly. The atmosphere is very friendly and the music is not loud but, very up beat. The restaurant is children friendly and very enough space for wheelchairs. There is a small bar to enjoy a drink and to eat your meal. It’s Avery great experience. Thank you

Absolutely one of the best shrimp quesedilla i ever tried I also had chicken quesedilla it was so good Everything was great I highly recommend it

Different spin on Mexican food but I liked it. I’ll say I’m used to TexMex so this was interesting but delicious. I got the enchilada fiesta and she warmed me it’s spicy. As a spice lover I didn’t expect much, but the enchiladas packed some heat. Liked their chips and salsa. The salsa selection they bring is great since it’s a paid appetizer, but it could use more chips in my opinion. The little spaghetti in chicken broth thing they bring instead chips and salsa was just weird to me.

Amazing drinks and meals. I enjoyed the Maria Bonita Shrimp but the rest of the table were loving the Micheladas.

I was doing laundry next door on a Sunday about 7pm and they were closing, all I wanted was a margarita and manager kindly let me in to accommodate me. While I was waiting the bartender asked if I wanted anything to go that it would be about the same amount of time for the food as it took me to drink my marj. I ordered the flautas and an elite with ranchero beans. She was right, my food came quickly, the drink went down smooth, and I'll be back again for the great customer service and wonderful food. The margarita was lacking, but I can always drink beer.

THIS PLACE IS THE BEST AUTHENTIC MEXICAN PLACE WE HAVE EVER TRIED! 100000/10! Everything down to the complimentary fideo was AMAZING! We stopped here to eat on our way back home to Lubbock & WOW! Every single time we tried something we were just in awe with how great it tasted!! This place was so good we plan to travel here JUST TO EAT and go back home! Nothing in Lubbock is comparable to this! Our server Crystal was absolutely amazing! From the time we came to sit down, she was fast, efficient, I accidentally spilt my drink on the floor and felt so bad and she cleaned it up FAST & continued giving great service! She was friendly and talked to us about different things to try! She is one of the best servers I’ve had at any restaurant! Cant wait to come back, yall are amazing!
